IDRC FELLOWSHIPS AND AWARDS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS

The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Training and Awards Program provides opportunities for enhanced scientific and technical know-how and increases the pool of experts versed in crucial international development issues. For developing countries, the awards expand the number of trained, experienced researchers to tackle practical problems and contribute to sustainable and equitable development.

SPEAKER: Ms. Katie Bryant-Moetele

who is based at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) will discuss the awards that IDRC offers to graduate students for research. She is the recipient of an IDRC Research Intern Award and is conducting her doctoral research in Botswana. She has worked as both a Writing Instructor and Coordinator of Carleton University’s (Ottawa, Canada) Writing Centre where she helped university students and staff with their academic writing activities.here she helped university students and staff with their academic writing activities.
